Welcome to Russell Dixon Entertainment, a platform presenting the New Zealand based personality and entertainer - Russell Dixon.
With extensive experience in the entertainment industry both here in New Zealand as well as overseas in the international arena, Russell’s skills are often engaged as a performer, director, producer, MC and celebrant.
His most recent performance was as the flamboyant music producer Bob Crewe in the NZ Tour of Jersey Boys for G&T Productions.
Since returning from working on London’s West End in 2013, Russell has directed many musical theatre productions, most recently – ‘Mary Poppins’ for the Amici Trust at Auckland’s prestigious Civic Theatre. This production was labelled by the international publication ‘Broadway World’ as the largest production in the world (during its season) due to the global impact of Covid-19.
In 2020 he also directed the production ‘Holiday Inn’ at The Court Theatre, for the graduating students at the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Arts (NASDA) in Christchurch.
He is regularly engaged as an MC for corporate events throughout New Zealand and as a Keynote Speaker for conferences and symposiums.
During the day Russell often works as a performance artist for Operatunity Ltd and as a corporate trainer throughout Australasia with the Great Scott Company. He is also an Auckland based registered Marriage Celebrant and producer of tailor-made corporate shows, cabarets, and dinner theatre productions.
